Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) physicians Dr. Rodolfo Bordoni, Dr. Pradeep Jolly, Dr. Melvin Moore, and Dr. Mansoor Saleh traveled to Chicago recently to attend the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting, held May 31 through June 3 at McCormick Place.
Dr. Saleh presented two posters at the meeting and was listed as the co-author of five abstracts. In addition, Dr. Saleh and GCS were specifically recognized in the investigator meeting for significant patient accrual and contributions to the Avastin study.
“The ASCO meeting is always an interesting and informative conference,” said Dr. Saleh. “I was pleased to present new findings and hear from so many of the experts in the field of oncology.”
The ASCO annual meeting is considered the premier educational and scientific event for oncology professionals. Each year, it attracts about 25,000 attendees from around the world.
