Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) will host the 14 th annual Magic of Life (MOL) celebration for cancer survivors Sunday, October 10 at Stone Mountain Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The largest cancer survivor event in the South, MOL gives survivors a chance to join together and celebrate their triumphs and successes in the fight against the disease.
Dr. Bruce Feinberg, CEO/President of GCS, said MOL has deep importance and significance.
“Overcoming and surviving cancer is a tremendous feat, and this event brings survivors together to celebrate their remarkable accomplishments,” he said.
This year, MOL will be a picnic-style event at the Stone Mountain Park outdoor sports pavilion and will include access to all of the park’s many attractions; the event is rain or shine. Survivors and one guest receive a free pass for lunch, entrance to the park, and access to park activities; additional guests will be charged $15. Survivors will also receive a free T-shirt. No registration is required and dress is casual.
Busses will be available for survivors living in the Blue Ridge, Macon, and Milledgeville areas. For further instructions, contact your GCS office.
