Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS), the largest private oncology/hematology practice in the Southeast, continues to grow with the addition of Dr. Raj Gupta to its Macon-Coliseum and Hawkinsville offices. GCS now has 34 physicians and 28 offices throughout metro Atlanta and North and Central Georgia.
Dr. Bruce Feinberg, President/CEO of GCS, said, “We’re excited to bring someone with Dr. Gupta’s experience to the practice and we all look forward to working with him.”
Dr. Gupta will join Drs. Cheryl Jones, Vundyala Reddy, Al Soltan, and Franc Wallace at the Middle Georgia offices. He comes to GCS from the Dwight David Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Fort Gordon, Georgia, where he has been for the past 15 years. Prior to that, he was the Assistant Chief of Medical Service at the VA Hospital in Montgomery, Alabama.
Dr. Gupta completed his fellowship at the University of South Florida in Tampa and his residency at T.R.S. Hospital in New Delhi, India and Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois. He received his medical degree from GSVM Medical College of Kanpur University in India.
His areas of special interest are breast and lung cancers.
