Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Marks Official Opening of Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care at Coliseum Medical Center, New Home of GCS

Georgia Cancer Specialists, Coliseum Radiation Partners, Dermatologic Surgery Specialists Combine to Provide Comprehensive Cancer Care Under One Roof

A recent ribbon cutting ceremony marked the official opening of the Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care at Coliseum Medical Center, the new home of the Georgia Cancer Specialists’s (GCS) Macon-Coliseum office. Local Chamber of Commerce members, politicians, healthcare administration officials, physicians, and media were on hand for the June 24 th ceremony.

The building will house GCS, Coliseum Radiation Partners (an affiliate of Atlanta Oncology Associates), and Dermatologic Surgery Specialists. Residents of Middle Georgia will now be able to receive all aspects of cancer care in one centralized location, including oncology, hematology, oncology radiation, radiology, dermatology, and a fully equipped pharmacy.

“We are excited to be a part of the new Cancer Center and now Central Georgians can get all of their oncology needs taken care of under one roof,” said Dr. Bruce Feinberg, President/CEO of GCS.
