Georgia Cancer Specialists Joins WellStar Health System in Celebrating New Cancer Center

Dr. Rodolfo Bordoni Speaks at Open House Events

Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS), the largest private oncology/hematology practice in the Southeast, joined WellStar Health System in two ribbon-cutting and open house events celebrating the new WellStar Cancer Center at Kennestone in Marietta on September 29 and October 2, 2005.  The comprehensive cancer center houses the GCS Kennestone office.

GCS physician Dr. Rodolfo Bordoni spoke on physician collaboration at the ceremonies. Dr. Bordoni practices at the GCS Kennestone office along with Dr. Gena Volas-Redd and Dr. Jonathan Rosenbluth.

“Because of the collaboration efforts of so many physicians, the new cancer center will offer the best cancer care possible to the Marietta area,” said Dr. Bordoni.

The WellStar Cancer Center at Kennestone, a $9.6 million, 59,000 square foot comprehensive cancer care center, opened in April of 2005.
