While visiting her Alma Mater, Bangalore Medical College, Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) physician Dr. Jayanthi Srinivasiah (Dr. Jay) gave a lecture to the school’s Alumni, including 200 physicians of all specialties. The speech was given during the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the school.
Dr. Jay lectured on various topics during the celebration, including general cancer screening, diagnosis, treatment, and new therapies in breast cancer. She also gave two other community lectures at different colleges while in the area.
Dr. Jay has been recognized in local and national media, being named a “top doc” by Redbook Magazine, Ladies Home Journal, and Atlanta Magazine. She was also honored with the CEO Recognition Award from the DeKalb Health System in 2002.
Dr. Jay practices at the GCS Stemmer, Dekalb, and Johns Creek offices.
Bangalore Medical College is one of the top 10 medical colleges in India. This year’s Golden Jubilee celebrations commemorated the fiftieth anniversary of the school.
