Georgia Cancer Specialists physician Dr. Richard Loyd has been elected as President of the Georgia Osteopathic Medical Association (GOMA). Dr. Loyd will serve as President during the 2005-2006 year.
“The impact for good performed each day by this group of physicians cannot be measured in numbers,” said Dr. Loyd. “I am very honored to have a place with such company.”
According to its website, the purpose of GOMA is to promote public health while also promoting art, science and philosophy of osteopathic medicine.
Dr. Loyd offers comprehensive cancer care at the GCS Gwinnett and Eastside offices. His special interests include the clinical research of lung and breast cancer treatments.
