Georgia Governor Sonny Perdue recently commended Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) physician Dr. Rodolfo Bordoni in an open letter about Georgia’s effort to move its cancer care quality and performance rankings to the top in the nation by 2012.
Gov. Perdue’s letter addressed the centerpiece of Georgia’s public-private strategy—the Distinguished Cancer Clinician and Scientist program—which will bring 150 of the best cancer experts from around the nation to Georgia.
“It is always nice to be recognized for the work you do. To be noticed by the Governor himself is a great honor,” said Dr. Bordoni.
