As part of Georgia Cancer Specialists’s (GCS) ongoing initiative to educate the public about cancer, GCS physician Dr. Jayanthi Srinivasiah (Dr. Jay) has been speaking to communities at health care seminars and outreach programs. She recently spoke at two seminars on back-to-back weekends and will be speaking to an outreach support group in late October.
Dr. Jay first spoke at Hindu Temple of Greater Atlanta on Friday, September 15, during a program titled “Moderated Women’s Health Seminar”.
The following weekend, on Saturday, September 23, Dr. Jay spoke during the 16th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend at The Global Learning Center on the campus of Georgia Tech. Her speech was titled “Targeted Therapy: Its Evolving Role in Breast Cancer Treatment.”
On Saturday, October 21, Dr. Jay will speak at the Lived2Tell Cancer Support Outreach program at the Art on 5 Art Gallery in Atlanta. The Gallery is located at 2001 Martin Luther King Dr., Suite 530. The phone number is 404-564-4799.
