Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) Manager of Wellness Services, Erika Baube, recently wrote an article that will be featured in the December issue of Atlanta Hospital News.
The article is entitled “Georgia Cancer Specialists’s Integrative Medicine Program Improves Patients’ Quality of Life,” and focuses on GCS’s integrative approach to comprehensive cancer care.
“GCS knows that cancer not only attacks physical health, but that it threatens emotional and spiritual well-being as well,” she says in the article. “The physicians and staff of GCS recognize that treating the mind, body, and spirit of the patients helps to give them the highest quality of life before, during, and after cancer treatment.”
Erika is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and serves as Manager of Wellness Services for GCS. She has a special interest in caregiver issues, social networks of critically ill patients and their families, and support at the end of life.
