Dr. Bruce Feinberg, President and CEO of Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS), recently discussed prostate cancer during a January 20 interview aired on WSB-TV’s “The Walter Reeves Show.”
The interview was part of the Prostate Proactivity Campaign, a radio campaign presented by GCS/WSB to encourage men throughout Georgia to get screened for prostate cancer.
“It’s exciting to speak to WSB-AM’s listeners about prostate cancer,” Feinberg said. “Diagnosed early, prostate cancer is virtually 100% curable. People need to be aware of the need for advanced screening.”
One in six American males will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime, leading to more than 6,000 new cases in Georgia each year.
