The Georgia Center for Total Cancer Care —a comprehensive cancer care center bringing together physicians from Atlanta Oncology Associates (AOA) and Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS)—will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its opening at Cowles Clinic on Linger Longer Road in Greensboro.
The ceremony, open to the public, will be held at the Center—on the campus of Cowles Clinic—on Friday, April 13 at 6pm.
Dr. Cheryl Jones, lead medical oncologist at the site, also looks forward to the opening of Georgia Centers for Total Cancer Care’s fourth facility. “I’m thrilled at the opening of our Cowles Clinic office,” said Jones. “It’s another wonderful opportunity for GCS to serve Georgia’s cancer patients.” Georgia Cancer Specialists is the south’s largest medical oncology practice, caring for patients in 30 offices throughout central and north Georgia.
Jones will practice at Cowles Clinic, along with GCS physician Dr. Laura Weakland and AOA physicians Dr. Erich Randolph and Dr. David Lowther.
