Dr. J. Bancroft Lesesne, a Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) physician, will provide free education for cancer patients and their families through a workshop titled Frankly Speaking About New Discoveries in Cancer.
The workshop, presented on November 15 at 6:30 p.m. by The Wellness Community-Atlanta, will be held at 5775 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Building C, Suite 225.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to educate those dealing with cancer,” Dr. Lesesne said. “It’s important for patients and their loved ones to be aware of the advanced and innovative treatments available to them.”
In addition to providing valuable education on cutting-edge cancer treatments, Dr. Lesesne will discuss new discoveries in emotional support and stress management. The workshop is a unique opportunity for patients to gather information to help them make informed treatment decisions and improve their quality of life with cancer and beyond.
All participants will receive a copy of the comprehensive Frankly Speaking About New Discoveries in Cancer. A light dinner will be served prior to the program. Attendees may RSVP to 404-843-1880.

The Wellness Community is a safe haven for cancer patients and their families and a place where they can find support, companionship, education, and most of all…hope.
