Dr. Deborah Sculco recently joined Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS), the largest private hematology/oncology practice in the Southeast. She joined the practice in January and currently sees patients at GCS offices in Athens and Greensboro.
“We’re excited to welcome Dr. Sculco to the practice,” said Dr. Bruce Feinberg, GCS President and CEO. “It’s thrilling to have such an esteemed, highly-trained physician as part of our cancer care team.”
Dr. Sculco, who specializes in the treatment of breast cancer, is the only female oncologist in Athens-Clarke County.
“I’m proud to have joined the best group of oncology doctors in the country, and I look forward to serving Georgia’s cancer community,” she said.
Before joining GCS, Dr. Sculco was an Associate Attending Oncologist at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut.
Dr. Sculco is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology, the American Society of Oncology, the Hartford County Medical Society, and the Connecticut State Medical Society.
