The Magic of Life Foundation and the physicians and staff of Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) proudly present the 18th annual Magic of Life Celebration for Cancer Survivors (MOL) Sunday, September 28, from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Turner Field. MOL is rain or shine.
The event is the largest cancer survivor event in the South – more than 2,700 survivors, friends, and family attended last year’s celebration.
Cancer survivors are invited to bring a guest and enjoy a free lunch, entrance to the park, and access to park activities, including a visit to the Braves museum, a tour of the clubhouse and locker rooms, live music, a magic show, massage therapy, and much more (additional guests receive lunch, entrance to the stadium, and stadium activities for $20 per person). Survivors will also receive a free commemorative t-shirt with a design by Florence Baldwin, this year’s chosen artist, who will be at the event autographing t-shirts.
“We’re proud to sponsor an event that gives cancer survivors a chance to join together and celebrate their achievements and successes in the fight against the disease,” said Dr. Wendy Lenz, COO of GCS and Chair and Executive Director of the Magic of Life Foundation. “The event has been an unbelievable success in past years, and we hope to get a great turnout again this year.”
The Magic of Life Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization providing community cancer education and support for those diagnosed with cancer.
