Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS)—a Top 10 private cancer practice in the U.S.—continues to grow and expand its services with the addition of Dr. Nirav Dhruva to its Athens office (1000 Hawthorne Avenue, Suite J; 706-369-4478).
GCS now has 44 physicians and 29 offices.

Dr. Dhruva, who completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, joins Dr. Richard Loyd and Christine Long, FNP-C at the Athens office.

Dr. Dhruva completed his fellowship and residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, NC. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. His areas of special interest are lung cancer, breast cancer, and malignant hematology.
Dr. Dhruva is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer, and the American Society of Hematology.
