Georgia Cancer Specialists physician Dr. Jennifer L. Jones gave a talk on the importance of mammograms, early detection, and treatment of breast cancer to a group of about 200 people on September 17. The event, called “Healthy Woman,” took place in Blue Ridge.
With a special interest in women’s health, this subject is something Dr. Jones feels passionately about.
Dr. Jones said, “Educating women about how to prevent breast cancer is so important, and that’s why I love participating in events like the ‘Healthy Woman’ talk last month. Any time you can pass along tips that might help save a life one day is a remarkable opportunity.”
