Bethany Smith, Georgia Cancer Specialists’s on-staff Registered Dietitian, is launching a blog on the GCS web site. Entitled “Weekly Wellness Digest: Byte-Sized Servings from Bethany Smith, Registered Dietitian,” the blog is a resource Smith is excited to offer the both the GCS community and beyond.
“Through this new platform, I hope to help not only our established patients improve their well being,” Smith said. “I also aim to reach out to those in the community who have an interest in eating and living well, but lack access to a Registered Dietitian specializing in cancer care.”
The blog can be found at the following web address: www.gacancer.com/wellness. It will also be linked through the Cancer Information tab on the GCS homepage (gacancer.com). The topics will range from recipe suggestions to exercise tips to lifestyle changes – all focused on ways to enhance cancer treatment and prevention.
