Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) physician Dr. Bruce Goldsweig was recently recognized for being an excellent and compassionate physician as part of the WellStar Foundation’s 2011 Doctors’ Day campaign. GCS patient Jane McIver contributed to the Foundation in honor of Dr. Goldsweig to recognize his extraordinary compassion and thoughtfulness, as well as excellent clinical care.
The WellStar Foundation’s Doctors’ Day Campaign asks patients to consider making a contribution in honor of their personal physician—one who has made a difference in their lives. In just two years, over $11,000 has been raised for the WellStar Foundation, representing gifts from over 320 patients.
Dr. Goldsweig sees patients at the GCS-Cobb office in Austell and GCS-Paulding office in Hiram. Dr. Goldsweig is board certified in medical oncology. He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and graduated Magna cum Laude from Faculté Libre De Médicine in Lille, France. Dr. Goldsweig is also on the WellStar Ethics Committee at Cobb Hospital.
