August 8, 2012 (Atlanta) — Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS)—a Top 10 private cancer practice in the U.S.—continues to grow and expand its services with the addition of Gina D’Amato, M.D. Dr. D’Amato, a sarcoma specialist, is board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. She will practice at the GCS-Northside office (1100 Johnson Ferry Road, Suite 600, Sandy Springs, 30342).
Dr. J. Before joining GCS, Dr. D’Amato served as the Director of Sarcoma Medical Oncology at the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory University. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, FL. Dr. D’Amato completed her residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL and a fellowship in oncology and hematology at the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, FL.
