Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) — the largest private medical oncology/hematology practice in the Southeast — continues to grow and expand its services with the addition of Dr. Ethan Tolbert to its Crawford Long office in Midtown Atlanta. GCS now has 41 physicians and 30 offices throughout Metro Atlanta and North and Central Georgia.
Dr. Tolbert is now seeing patients at the Crawford Long office.

Dr. Tolbert comes to GCS upon completing his residency and fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. He received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Tolbert is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, American Medical Association, American College of Physicians/American Society of Internal Medicine, Stones River Academy of Medicine, and Tennessee Medical Association.
Dr. Tolbert’s areas of special interest include internal medicine. He has published and presented several reports, including TNF-a blockade for the treatment of chronic graft-versus-host disease, paraneoplastic cerebellar syndrome and optic neuritis with anti-CV2 antineuronal antibodies in a patient with small cell carcinoma of the lung, and Rhinoorbital mucormycosis after highly active antiretroviral therapy in a non-diabetic patient with AIDS.
