Georgia Cancer Specialists physician Dr. Jayanthi Srinivasiah (“Dr. Jay”) recently penned an article on breast cancer testing and treatments in the Fall 2007 issue of DeKalb Medical’s Cancer Hope Line magazine.
The article, titled “Making Strides in Breast Cancer: Oncotype DX”, describes the Oncotype DX breast cancer screening and similar tests that attempt to “tailor treatment more individually” by genetic profiling. The article also featured Dr. Jay’s photo.
Dr. Jay is a member of the Medical Association of Georgia, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and the DeKalb County Medical Society. She has achieved national recognition as one of Atlanta’s Top Doctors for Oncology. In addition, Dr. Jay leads the Clinical Genetics Committee at DeKalb Medical and is an Investigator for Georgia C.O.R.E. (Center for Oncology Research and Education.
She currently practices at the GCS Stemmer, DeKalb, and Johns Creek offices.
