Two major news stories about breast cancer were announced this week, and two Georgia Cancer Specialists (GCS) physicians—Dr. Mansoor Saleh and Dr. Lynn Zemsky—appeared on two Atlanta TV news stations to explain the findings.
On Monday, February 25, Dr. Mansoor Saleh, the director of clinical research at GCS, was interviewed on CBS Atlanta about the FDA approval of the breast cancer drug T-DM1, which extends the survival of women with HER2+ advanced breast cancer.
