Dr. Kathleen Laveaux is a board-certified physician in medical oncology, hematology, and internal medicine. Prior to joining Georgia Cancer Specialists, Dr. Laveaux served as an Instructor in Clinical Medicine at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, providing inpatient based teaching on the management of both solid and hematologic malignancies while also practicing in general hematology and oncology at the Community Cancer centers in Oneonta and Sidney, NY. Dr. Laveaux has been named one of Atlanta’s “Top Doctors” from 2019-2022. She has special interests in the diagnosis and treatment of breast and colorectal cancer. Dr. Laveaux also speaks Haitian Creole.
