Dr. Yi Dong completed his hematology-oncology fellowship at the Indiana University Simon Cancer Center, a prestigious NCI designated comprehensive cancer center and NCCN member institute (one of only 33 leading centers in the United States). Before his fellowship, Dr. Dong served as a faculty physician and academic hospitalist at Indiana University following his internal medicine residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center.
Dr. Dong is also a distinguished NCI-funded physician-scientist, with numerous publications in leading journals and presentations at international conferences. He is an editor and board member of the Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Therapeutics. He also serves as a peer reviewer for several important biomedical journals.
After witnessing the struggle of cancer patients and their loved ones, particularly during the pandemic, Dr. Dong chose to practice community oncology. He is devoted to being a frontier healer for cancer patients in their fight against the disease.
Dr. Dong is committed to using the latest evidence-based practices in cancer treatment and is dedicated to advocating for his patients throughout their cancer journey.
Dr. Dong is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.
